Protection and Gender
Protection programs aim to ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of individuals—especially those most at risk, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and displaced populations—during crises and in recovery contexts.
ADRT Consulting provides technical expertise in designing, monitoring, and evaluating protection interventions to ensure they are effective, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of vulnerable groups. A gender‑sensitive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning ( MEAL) approach integrates gender considerations at every stage of the program cycle—from design to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This ensures that interventions address the distinct priorities and needs of women, men, girls, and boys, while actively reducing gender inequalities.
ADRT Consulting develops comprehensive, gender sensitive MEAL systems that enable partners to:
- Assess Gender Equity — Track whether programs equitably serve women and men and respond to their specific needs.
- Identify and Mitigate Gender‑Based Barriers — Reveal gaps, power imbalances, and harmful practices that limit access or outcomes.
- Promote Women’s Empowerment — Measure changes in decision‑making power, economic participation, and leadership opportunities for women and girls.
- Mid-term and Final Evaluations
